Bacteriophage monitoring in dairy plants
Project
Project code: MRI-MBT-02-15
Contract period: 01.01.2001
- 01.12.2021
Purpose of research: Experimental development
Collection of informations over the development of phage spectra in dairy plants, with the aim of developing strategies for avaoidance of phage infections
Results
Bacteriophages from different dairy plants and different parts within the plants were detected, identified and characterized on a molecular level. The appearance of a new phage type could be documented. Strategies for avoidance were developed together with the dairy companies.
