Purpose of research: Inventory & Assessment
The first objective is the development of routines to empirically quantify how relevant different sub processes of structural change are with respect to farm exit/entry, farm specialization and farm size. The second task is to development a methodology to convert SO based into SGM FADN based grids and vice versa, in order to save the value of long and continuous time series. The second objective is to develop the Macro-MCI and compare it with a Markov approach and observed FSS ex-post data for a selected region to all FADN region in EU-28 where sufficient time series observation are available. This will be based on the grid definition jointly determined in Task 1 with the JRC-IPTS and DG AGRI.
