Project code: BfR-BIOS-08-1322-207
Contract period: 01.01.2006 - 31.12.2007
Purpose of research: Applied research

A statistically relevant number of Shiga toxin 2e producing strains of Escherichia coli from different sources (human, animal, food, environment) shall be investigated for their virulence properties. The profound characterization of this set of bacteria shall contribute to assess their significance as agents of human disease.
