Purpose of research: Applied research
Updating and Improvement of existing test methods. Basis for the efficacy assessment are studies and documents submitted by the applicant. Both, studies and documents, have to be prepared by the applicant in accordance with internationally harmonized EPPO standards and OECD guidelines and corresponding EU Guidance documents. The Institute participates in the development of testing and evaluation methods as well as the harmonization of testing and assessment methods, both at national and international levels. For this work, the own research is of great importance.
