Project code: JKI-ZGO-08-4156
Contract period: 01.01.2011 - 30.06.2013
Purpose of research: Applied research

The project is aimed on the phytopathological characterization of Malus orientalis genotypes of the north Caucasian region. These genotypes, seedlings of several mother trees, will be phenotyped after inoculation with apple scab, powdery mildew and fire blight, respectively, to identify mother trees with resistances. Individual genotypes will be selected for future breeding activities based on phenotypic and additional data.
