Project code: FLI-IBIZ-08-Je-0038
Contract period: 01.10.2010 - 31.12.2013
Purpose of research: Applied research

The overall goal of SiLeBAT is to develop scientific-based solutions for prevention of and risk assessment in the case of an intentional bio- or agro-terroristic attempt of the food and feed supply. The FLI takes part in the subproject A: “Food and feed matrices, growth behaviour and detection of biological threat agents.” With the goal to establish an informational database for agent-specific inquiries of growth and inactivation parameters, the ability to survive, resulting diseases for humans and animals as well as available and reliable diagnostic tools.
