Description

The department carries out research and teaching in the fields of animal breeding and genetics of domestic animals, including molecular genetics, cyto genetics, hereditary defects and predispositions, and animal behaviour genetics. Obligatory lectures are offered and special seminars on animal breeding and genetics.
