The present project aims at the improvement of a mobile advisory system for a comprehensive crop management in cereal production. Based on prognosis models, monitoring data and a textual comment from the local advisor, this so-called Electronic Advisory Assistant delivers recommendations for an integrated plant protection. All indications and warnings of the advisory assistant follow the crop growth stage of the individual field. In the project, the partners ISIP, ZEPP and DWD will extend the existing application for wheat production in the following areas:
• Implementation of further crops and their respective decision support modules of ZEPP
• Integration of new services of DWD, for example the calculation of crop microclimate or calculation of actual soil
parameters
• Implementation of a range of management tools for the farmer based on a medium-range weather forecast
• Technical adaptations and revisions
