This projekt submission is part of the ProOrg project (CoreOrganic) which is coordinated by Flavio Paoletti,CREA, Italy (FKZ 2817OE002). University Kassel will take over all responsibilities and research steps agreed on with Thuenen-Institute. The objective of this project is to develop a flexible and practicable Code of Practice (CoP) for processors of organic foods as well as for labelling organizations. Kassel University is responsible for WP6, which aims at identifying consumer preferences and acceptance regarding selected processing technologies for organic food. The WP consists of five tasks and Thünen/Kassel University conducts T 6.1 and T 6.5. T 6.1 aimed at analysing consumer preferences and knowledge regarding selected processing technologies of organic food means of focus group discussions. Furthermore, trade-offs between various product attributes were identified. (completed) T 6.5 covers the summary of all research steps in WP 6. University Kassel is responsible. In addition, Kassel University supports project partners in Task 6.2. and 6.4. Besides WP 6, Kassel University contributes to WP 2 und WP 7, and supports all other WP´s in consumer related questions.
