Purpose of research: Applied research
Data of population groups from the German National Nutrition Survey II will be analyzed concerning their organic food purchase or non-purchasing behavior. The subgroups high, intermediate and non-purchasers of organic food will be investigated by taking into account their nutritional behavior, their attitudes and socio demographics. Descriptive analyses will be conducted to describe patterns of the dietary and health behavior of the individual subgroups, to assess the adequacy of their diet in comparison to national recommendations regarding nutrients and foods.
