Purpose of research: Basic research
The living situations of women in rural areas differ greatly between the different locations for every study point. Social differences were found above all in terms of educational achievements and the finances, over which women dispose,? both were determined to a great level by the outset situations and the room the women have to manoeuver. Despite all differences the surveyed women were all bound by a common priority for employment and with simultaneously strong involvement in family life. For the resulting need to reconcile work and family, those surveyed develop individual and very creative solutions as 'Masters of their own Lives'.?
