Purpose of research: Applied research
A lot of different organic wastes and by-products are produced in the agricultural sector, which can be used for biogas production. After anaerobic stabilization the residues can be applied as for fertilization and soil improvement. The aim of the project is to investigate the anaerobic digestibility of many different wastes an residues form agriculture and agro-industry in order to determine the specific gas yield and the properties of the digestate.
