Purpose of research: Basic research
The aim of this project is to provide an overview of existing research work related to the complex issues of the multi-functionality of agriculture and rural areas in cooperation with 26 research institutes from 15 countries. The scientists involved in the project believe that agriculture is sustainable only and will therefore only be considered as a pillar of sustainable development if its multi-functionality is recognized and promoted.
