The project aims at the solution of the problems, whether and how the highly increased mutagenic potency of the exhaust gas of diesel engines that are fuelled with rape seed oil depends on structural elements of the vegetable oil. Furthermore, the project addresses the question, how this mutagenicity can be diminished.
