Purpose of research: Applied research
The aim is to implement the results from DIREFO project findings on the BORN-trout and the whitefish (Coregonus lavaretus balticus, Thienemann 1922) to transfer. Providing a robust breeding line tested of whitefishs provides optimal conditions constitute a site specific produktion of whitefish and also for the targeted development of robust strains in aquaculture.
