"Pesticide resistance has been recognized as an increasing problem in agricultural systems and many publications about minimizing resistance problems have been published by different working groups. But for farmers, there are no decision support tools available to ensure appropriate decisions concerning the individual resistance management strategies. The project evaluates the available knowledge about the prevention of resistance and will develop practical solutions. The IT–tools for decision support will be developed in collaboration with Helm-Software Company and integrated in both an existing field record system and an online portal. The aim is to provide farmers with a decision support tool which ensures a sustainable resistance management and in the long-term the prevention of resistance development."
