Purpose of research: Applied research
The project is aimed at the development and testing of a smartphone based tool for conducting and documenting agricultural management on ecological focus area. Using highly accurate GPS and automatic data storage in central servers (“cloud”) the system will automatically document land management with legal compliance. This is aimed to conduct agri-environmental measures within the framework of the Common Agricultural Policy of the European Community (CAP) or to run other nature conservation measures in the German states and to make their controlling more practicable.
