Purpose of research: Applied research

The herd health in organic husbandry is not better than usual. Specific herd health control plans could help to improve farming systems. Selected farms with laying hens will be visited, aims will be defined and proposals for increasing the indicators for the herd health will be established and the achievement of targets will be controlled. The motivations of the farmers and economic data will be aroused together with the parallel projects concerning pig and dairy production.
