Purpose of research: Applied research
Conceptions of integrated pest management were developed towards more sustainability and were published in form of crop or sector specific guidelines on integrated pest management. This work is based on the Directive 128/EU on sustainable use of pesticides. The producer associations are responsible for the development of the guidelines and get scientific support. The guidelines are part of the NAP. According to the Directive 128/EU guidelines should be voluntary adapted by 2014.
