The project aims to develop a risk avoidance strategy targeting four principal, legume specific insect pests in faba bean and field pea. Based on the analysis of empiric field data the effects of crop site selection, crop spacing and sowing date on pest incidence the project explores the potential for preventive cultivation planning.
