Purpose of research: Inventory & Assessment
Analyses of timber growth and timber supply are used to estimate the potential raw timber supply under specific restrictions of sustainable forest management and socio-economic restrictions. They can be specified for concrete timber assortments or sub-regions. Analyses of timber supply, with the objective of estimating the sustainability of raw timber supply, are often used for industrial location decisions and the financing of industrial settlements, especially from public funds.
