When are regions so disadvantaged for agriculture through natural and economic conditions that they require financial compensation? With what means will it be ensured that such compensatory payments conform to EU law? Our project deals with these questions in order to be able to provide actors of Common Agricultural Policy with scientifically based decision making helps.
