Digital planning, marketing and monitoring platform for Saxon direct marketers (DigiGUT)
Project
Project code: EIP-Agri-Sa-2021-LPTPD
Contract period: 01.01.2021
- 31.12.2023
Budget: 316,992 Euro
Purpose of research: Applied research
Keywords: farming practice/activity, product/service, marketing/supply chain
Existing production, marketing and logistics processes and their interlinking structures along the value chain of agricultural products are to be analyzed and innovative, digital optimization solutions developed. Direct marketing farms involved in the project will be united within the prototypical digital platform DigiGUT for this purpose. The development is based on the service engineering concept. Digital interfaces are created between producers, logisticians, traders as well as to upstream areas and consumers. This sustainably improves the market position of direct marketing farms. Interfaces between the individual areas can also be used to analyze and improve internal processes such as workflows and structures. The collection of logistics data via the DigiGUT platform also enables more efficient and shorter delivery routes.
