Purpose of research: Experimental development
Collaborative approaches for efficient administration and the exchange of relevant data between participants in the supply chain, institutions and institutes in the food sector represent an important impetus for the future use of new technologies in operational and official practice. In the Food-Authent project (09/2016 - 12/2019) experts from the fields of food analysis, food retail, software development, data mining and standardisation have created the basis for the joint use of finger-printing technologies for the first time. In particular, a concept for comparing spectral information from non-targeted analytics and a fAuthent software system for the management of decentralized data between system partners were developed. The scientific and technical project results are freely accessible for actors in the food industry.
