Description
In collaboration with well-known manufacturers of agricultural technology as consortium companies and investors, we have developed the idea of a manufacturer-neutral, cross-product data hub and control the processes that are necessary in this regard by inviting tenders for corresponding work packages, awarding contracts for these to external service providers and supervising the process. Following the planned commissioning of this new data hub at the end of 2017, we will also act as operating company.
What is the innovation all about?
One unsolved problem so far are the different and customized developments that are used for the data exchange, for instance between machine and software products of different manufacturers. We have a solution for this. We are busy developing a cross-manufacturer data hub, which will go into operation in time for the Agritechnica 2017. Customers are making use of a service: safe and cross-product data transport. Following the Agritechnica 2017, conversion problems in data communication will be a thing of the past.
