Description
Together with the clinical departments of the University Hospital Tübingen and its institutes of medical care and theoretical medicine, the Faculty of Medicine Tübingen is one of the largest institutions for medical training and higher education in Baden-Württemberg.
Internationally acclaimed clinical research alliances integrate basic, disease-oriented and patient-oriented research to forge new paths in the diagnosis, therapy and prevention of disease processes, with the ultimate goal of benefiting the patient.
In this environment of excellence, students of medicine and dentistry receive a comprehensive, research-informed clinical education.
The Faculty of Medicine is committed to meeting its social responsibilities and being open for new developments. New degree programs are being established, and technology transfer provides a stimulus for industry and the economy.
The Faculty of Medicine is charged with organizing research and teaching at the University Hospital Tübingen. Spokesperson and executive head is the Dean. The Office of Faculty Management is responsible for managing the affairs of the Faculty of Medicine.
