As part of the EU tender 'ICT Agri era-net' a pan-European consortium of five institutions (4 academic and one private company) apply for a grant to fuse multi-source and multi-sensor information on soil and crop for optimized crop production system based on a farm management information system (FMIS). New sensor systems will be investigated and tested at three farm sites in Europe.
The chair for Geodesy and Geoinformatics (RU) is responsible for WP 2: Acquisition, processing and visualisation of crop data and WP 5: Integration in the Farm management information system. Furtheron the professorship contributes to WP 1: Soil sensor and data, WP 3: Data fusion, WP 4: Geostatistical analysis as well as WP 6: Integration and Demonstration.
