Collaborative project: Development and Design of a robot for the abatement of harmful slugs in agriculture - subproject 2 (MSR-Bot)
Project
Project code: 2815704515, JKI-AT-08-1121
Contract period: 01.11.2016
- 31.10.2019
Budget: 151,496 Euro
Purpose of research: Applied research
In agricultural plant production slugs and mice cause grave damages. The existing possibilities of mice and slugs control get unsatisfactory results. The aim of the project is to develop an autonomous navigated robot by using GPS which decreases damages of mice and slugs by render the slugs harmless and setting out toxic bait into the mouse holes and burrow systems. By developing the robot the project has the opportunity to perform the combat of slugs and mice for the operator more effective, more ecofriendly and even more economic.
