Institution
Section overview
Description
The RLP AgroScience GmbH carries out basic and applied research and development in the fields of Agro-Ecology and Biotechnology biotechnology and agro-ecology in connection with plant production. It aims at the economically and ecologically improvement of agricultural production and at the transfer of achieved knowledge to companies, research institutions and interested persons. In particular the RLP AgroScience GmbH supports the competitiveness of small crop producers (viticulture, horticulture, etc.) as well as of processing companies. It will further initiate research activities in the field of environmental protection and nature conservation with a focus on improvement of intensively utilized agricultural areas. As a result the production of high value agricultural products is fostered and acceptability of improved and innovative production techniques will be enhanced. The society forms a link between basic research and economy as well as between associations and public institutions, thus, contributing to a broad transfer of knowledge.
