Kompetenzzentrum Obstbau-Bodensee (KOB)
Institution
Section overview
Description
The 2Kompetenzzentrum Obstbau – Bodensee2 (KOB) in Bavendorf is a foundation under private law. It’s task is to promote the fruit growing region of Lake Constance, by the conservation of the landscape which is characteristic for lake Constance because of the regions tradition in cultivating land. The KOB serves as a bridge between theory and practical work. The bridge is achieved by taking results from basic research and converting them into practical solutions that can be used under local conditions. This is accomplished by practical research and consulting. Another important part is the international cooperation with institutions in other fruit growing regions.
