The healthy plant is free of diseases and pests and able to use internal defence capabilities to compensate biotic and abiotic stress. Aims of the research in the department of plant health are to study the cause, impact and interaction of parasitic and abiotic factors for the plant on different levels: individuals, populations and agricultural eco-systems.
