Non-destructive analysis of barley growth
Project
Project code: 0315530
Contract period: 01.01.2009
- 31.12.2014
Purpose of research: Basic research
The method of hyperspectral imaging (VISNIR 380 – 900 nm) will be evaluated and adapted to microstands of Barley in pot trials. Important growth parameters like biomass, water content, leaf area and drought stress indicating parameters like e.g. water content are to be determined indirectly by hyperspectral imaging. Together with surface and volume data from project D2 the prediction of crop biomass and leaf area is to be further improved.
