Purpose of research: Applied research
First step is the modelling of agricultural production followed by designing climate-adaptive and market-flexible cropping systems that also meet the criteria of sustainable land use. Both the underlying knowledge, as well as the developed methods and concepts should be transferable to other regions and situations.
