Project
Project code: G2/N/21/04
Contract period: 01.11.2021
- 31.07.2022
Purpose of research: Applied research
Paraffinic diesel fuel made from residual and waste materials according to DIN EN 15940 is considered as sustainable and is approved for many new diesel tractors. Whether it is also suitable for older machines is unknown. The aim of "ParaDies2025" is to investigate whether HVO, which is a paraffinic diesel fuel, can be a sustainable alternative to fossil diesel for the existing vehicle fleets of State-owned farms in Bavaria, which can be implemented in the short term up to the year 2025. "ParaDies2025" is intended to pave the way towards a climate-neutral administration in Bavaria, in accordance with the 10-point plan of the climate protection offensive.
