Purpose of research: Basic research
The aim of this study is to investigate whether the daily ingestion of a probiotic food containing L. casei Shirota by healthy individuals with a low NK cell activity can modulate NK cell functions and other immunological parameters. In addition, microbiological examinations will be carried out for potentially pathogenic organisms in the nasal and pharyngeal microflora.
