Project code: 2808OE007
Contract period: 01.08.2008
- 31.12.2011
Budget: 135,557 Euro
Purpose of research: Applied research
Research priorities of the WP 2, firstly, the increasing power of assimilation and symbiotic N2 fixation by legumes. Secondly, investigations are carried out with the purpose to improve the selective application of carbon-rich agricultural fertilizer with new technical methods, the soil health. The experimental positions on this topic consist of both the system of field trials over two to three years of cultivation, as well as from tests on farms in the years 2010/2011, which are based on already acquired results created. The field trials are an example of the three available sites (Photograph: Dresden-Pillnitz, trial operation Trenthorst, Frankenhausen) conducted in different climatic regions or with different soil base.
