The Institute for cooperation in developing countries (IKE) was founded in 1963. Central functions in teaching and research are the coordination of care and teaching for compulsory electives economic problems in developing countries and cooperative teaching for students of Business Studies and the People's Economics as well as the processing of current research questions about these work areas.
