Description
The Phytopharmacy and Semiochemicals Research Unit, located in Versailles, is involved in improving pesticide uses within an integrated crop protection context; this approach requires studying intoxication processes in target and non-target organisms, pesticide resistance development and the environmental fate of pesticides. In the field of chemical communication between organisms, the aims are to identify semiochemicals and their ethological, physiological and biochemical properties; this approach will result in offering alternative methods to classical chemical control. Unit presentation. Teams: Fungicides, Insecticides, Chemical communication, Xenobiotics and environment, Rhizosphere, Chemistry and physical chemistry of natural products, Mass spectrometry and analytical chemistry.
