Purpose of research: Inventory & Assessment
On trees more pests and pathogens occur (eg. processionary moth) which cause allergic acting emissions for people (caterpillars hairs, spores). By setting up a GEO-Information System to document the distribution, biology and ecology eg. European processionary moth species in Germany, should also be worked on the development of preventive measures.
