The Agricultural Technology Center August hill (LTZ) was created by bringing together the following bodies: Landwirtschaftliche Untersuchungs- und Forschungsanstalt Augustenberg Landesanstalt für Pflanzenschutz Stuttgart sowie Landesanstalt für Pflanzenbau Forchheim mit dem Institut für umweltgerechte Landbewirtschaftung Müllheim und dem Saatbauamt Donaueschingen.
