Project
Project code: 2219NR104
Contract period: 01.10.2019
- 30.09.2021
Budget: 149,210 Euro
Purpose of research: Applied research
Keywords: renewable ressources, wood cascading, biogas
Wood cascading is a declared goal in European and national politics and the main concept to meet the increasing demand for wood in the near future through maximizing the efficiency and reducing the environmental impacts of wood utilization. Latest research results indicate environmental benefits of wood cascading, but are limited to the consideration of direct effects, without taking temporal and market effects into account. Therefore, the project aims to account for these temporal and market effects of different wood cascading scenarios using evolved LCA methods.
