The project „Appetit auf den Beruf – The digital coaching platform for artisanal food production“ (www.appetitaufdenberuf.de) offers small and medium-sized enterprises an online resource platform regarding the acquisition of new staff. The platform offers an insight into innovative recruiting processes as well as a recommendation for the code of conduct when attempting to entice skilled workers and apprentices. The platform caters to the needs of small to midrange businesses, butcheries and bakeries, with no dedicated human resources in-house. The knowledge library created by this online platform offers a sustainable and scalable resource, for the recruitment and hiring process of a younger work force who are looking for a career in the food industry.
