Sustainable use of (stabilized) urindominated substrates for the production of NawaRo and analytical and agrartechnical developments
Project
Project code: EIP-Agri-THÜ-2018-LPTD
Contract period: 01.01.2018
- 31.12.2020
Budget: 336,377 Euro
Purpose of research: Applied research
Keywords: farming, practice/activity, fertilisation
The project is designed to ensure the long-term safe production of healthy feed and food, the safe use of manure for the purposes of the Fertilizer Ordinance, and is an innovative contribution to the comprehensive protection of groundwater and soil. In addition to the antibiotics, in modern animal husbandry antiphlogistics, antiparasitics and hormones are used therapeutically or preventively. The objectives of the project are the investigation of the use of animal, urindominated substrates before and after innovative stabilization as direct liquid fertilizer for NawaRo / energy plants in a more targeted fertilization, extensive drug elimination and further development of low-emission application technology. With the economic fertilizer, the pharmaceuticals as well as their metabolites reach the agricultural fields and can contaminate the crop plants, the soil and the ground water. The further development of an innovative analytics is an essential prerequisite for the detection of the pharmaceutical substances in the economic fertilizer, soil and plant as well as their further degradation.
