The project partners have the aim of developing an animal health app. In order to facilitate the collection and provision of health data and findings for dairy farmers, it should be possible to use this in combination with various herd management programs on all common mobile devices. A communication tool should also enable contact with the responsible veterinarian via the app. In addition, a connection to the examination laboratory of the Thuringian Animal Disease Fund is planned. Using proven key figures, the influence of using the software on improving animal welfare in two Thuringian dairy herds wil be evaluated. The results of the project will be disseminated among dairy farmers and veterinarians through training and information events. It is planned to publish the results of the data analysis in scientific journals.
