Cross talk of ABA signalling with auxin and ethylene responses
Project
Project code: TP B01
Contract period: 01.07.2011
- 30.06.2015
Budget: 510,526 Euro
Purpose of research: Basic research
The phytohormone abscisic acid (ABA) plays a central role in stress adaptation of plants. Abiotic signals such as drought and cold as well as biotic interactions lead to an activation of the ABA signal pathway. The ABA-mediated responses including regulation of stomata and growth interfere with other signal pathways of phytohormones. The integration of various endogenous signals is largely not understood in plants. In this project part, the crosstalk of the ABA signal pathway with auxin- and ethylene-mediated reactions will be elucidated on a molecular level.
