The planthopper H. obsoletus is the vector of Bois noir. Infection pressure on grapevine is increased by weed control measures during the flight period of adult vectors. A prognosis system to determine the start of the flight activity for different host-adapted populations of the vector is developed and optimized based on field observations of the flight and weather data.
