The aim is the generation and analysis of sufficient, reproducible data for the evaluation of an UV-C treatment of (liquid) foods in order to identify any opportunities and risks of a procedure or the application and the scale-up potential for industrial use. This information should serve as a basis for legislative activities and help representatives of German industry in deciding whether and in what areas an investment is worth to increase competitiveness.
