Project code: JKI-PB-08-0038
Contract period: 01.01.2008 - 31.12.2018
Purpose of research: Inventory & Assessment

PIPPA is a program, which makes use of upper boundary lines and enables the interpretation of plant analysis data of oilseed rape, cereals and sugar beet crops. Its experience is based on databases containing more than 6000 observations for the three major cash crops and summarizing more than 30 years of experience in plant analysis. PIPPA is the first and only interpretation program, which acknowledges Liebig’s 'Law of the Minimum' and Mitscherlich’s law of diminishing returns. PIPPA employs upper boundary lines for the essential mineral plant nutrients obtained by BOLIDES to evaluate ceteris paribus to which extent an individual nutrient limits the yield of cereals, oilseed rape and sugar beet crops. The data base will be extended by legumes and fibre plants and the beneficial elements Co and V.
