Material use of biomass ashes as an element in bioeconomie - project stage 1 (AshUSe)

Purpose of research: Applied research
Biomass ashes are produced as by-products during the combustion of renewable raw materials. The recycling of these ashes offers many opportunities for the Bavarian bioeconomy. In a first phase of the project, the Technologie- und Förderzentrum will raise the current status of ash use in Bavaria, build a network of actors from agriculture and forestry, industry, administration and research and prepare first proposals for new ways of recycling biomass ash.
