The overarching aim of D3INST applied is the development of an instrument for farm and site-specific adaptation, diversification and optimization of species mixtures with forage legumes in order to strengthen the ley phase as the backbone of organic crop rotations. In particular, a diagnostic tool will be developed for practitioners, enabling them to adapt and optimize the selection of forage legumes on their farm in a targeted manner.
